How can I contact you?
You can email me through the contact form on this website or message me via Instagram. You can also call or message me on Whatsapp during normal working hours.
Please note that I may not always be able to take phone calls immediately, but will return calls and respond to your messages at the earliest opportunity.
Is a particular item on your website still available?
Yes. If you can see an item advertised on the website, it’s available for purchase. The stock list is live - if you can see an item it's in stock. If you can’t see an item, it’s no longer available.
Can I reserve an item to purchase later?
I can place a discretionary hold on any item for up to 7 days. After this period, the item will return to general sale if not purchased.
Can you put me on a wanted list / waiting list for something I am looking for?
Sadly, I do not offer any form of wanted list or waiting lists for photographic equipment. I welcome your enquiries and may be able to informally advise you on incoming stock, however I would still recommend to regularly check my website for anything you’re looking for.
Are the photos on your website of the actual item advertised for sale?
Yes. Every item listed on my website is individually photographed. The images will be of the actual item you are purchasing.
What is the condition of an item advertised for sale?
Every item listed on my website is individually described. Applicable qualities of each item will be explained in detail - Cosmetic, Mechanical, Optical and Electronic. Any faults will be noted as such. If you would like further information about any item, please contact me to discuss.
Are all items advertised for sale working and usable?
The majority of items are ready to use in their intended capacity and come with a 28-day guarantee. Certain collectible, unusual or historical items may be more suitable for collectible or ornamental use. Such items will not come with a guarantee and may have faults which impede their use. If this is the case, it will be made very clear in the advertisement.
Can I view an item in person before purchase?
Regrettably, I operate on a mail order / web only basis. By prior arrangement I may be able to bring an item for you to view at a monthly Leeds Cameras & Coffee morning, however this will not always be possible.
What is your policy on returns?
On occasion, an item may have issues which I have regrettably missed. A subtle, hidden fault or intermittent problem might only become apparent after a little while. It's all part and parcel of selling decades old equipment, and I totally understand that.
If something falls short of your expectations then whether you prefer a refund, exchange or repair - we can find a resolution that suits you. You can find the full details of my guarantee and returns policy on the terms of sale page.
How does postage work?
Postage is complimentary on orders over £50. Orders under this threshold will be subject to a £5.00 postage charge.
All items are sent by tracked, insured and recorded delivery. I endeavour to dispatch orders within 48 hours of purchase, not including weekends or bank holidays.
If you have a delivery deadline, or have any particular delivery requirements, enquire with me prior to placing an order and I can advise whether it will be possible to accommodate.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards are accepted via the SumUp platform. Bank Transfer is also available by arrangement.
Can I put a deposit down on an item, or pay in instalments?
I do not take deposits on items, or have any instalment terms.
Do you buy equipment? Where do you source equipment?
My inventory is usually procured from individuals approaching me. If you are looking to sell an individual piece, or a collection of fine photographica, then you are welcome to contact me.
If I am unable to express interest in your items, I will be happy to provide you with details of trusted colleagues and businesses in the industry that may be able to help you.
Do you buy and sell internationally?
Sadly, no. At the moment, all transactions are UK only. I am happy to provide my other services on a remote basis if required.
