GOMZ FK 18x24 Tailboard w/ 30cm f/4.5 Industar-13 & Plate Holders [620152]

Condition

Mechanical: In working order. Knobs and locks working as intended. All movements smooth. Focusing rack smooth. Bellows light-tight and not creased or wrinkled. Some of the sliding parts of the camera are a little stiff due to lack of use.

Optical: The ground glass is clean and clear. The Industar-13 is also clean and clear with no haze, fungus or scratches.

Cosmetic: Generally very presentable for the age, with no major signs of use - just a few light signs of wear. No cracks or damage to the wood. Leather strap intact and supple. Had a strong odour of smoke when it came to me but has been aired out and thoroughly cleaned to reduce this as best possible.

Additional Information

Surprisingly well-finished, Soviet large format camera body. Uses 18x24 size plates - about 7x9½ inch - with three double plate holders included. I would describe it as unrefined but functional - quintessentially Soviet.
